Have you ever wanted to take a photography workshop where you learn how to create images you see on the streets? Or take portraits of people you encounter, but have been fearful of approaching them? Now is your chance!Join us for an action packed and informative weekend on the streets of Amsterdam. In this workshop you will learn how to work on the streets with your camera by effectively approaching situations to create compelling images. You will also learn techniques that will improve your use of lighting (incorporating natural, reflected and low light situations), composition, and creative post processing of your images (using Lightroom, Aperture, Silver Efex Pro). Each day we will provide imagery feedback, with a formal critique held on Sunday. ALL SKILL LEVELS AND CAMERA TYPES ARE WELCOME!

Seasoned instructors Joni Kabana and Michael Schoenholtz have been teaching for years, and this is one of their most popular and spirited workshops. Participants have even taken it more than once, as something different always happens while shooting on the streets!

Class size is limited and the workshop is already half full, so sign up early!

Date:      April 13-15, with optional add-on day April 16 (topic will be determined by class needs)
Place:     Singel 353, just two blocks north of Bloemenmarkt

“I want to share how much I enjoyed and learned from Michael’s class. The necessary technical data he began with was just the right touch of needed information. I appreciate that he did this without diving into the abyss of technical saturation. The workshop has given me much to practice and to ponder…..” – Marlene, participant in a Michael Schoenholtz workshop

“I had the privilege of taking Joni’s class knowing my camera did not qualify for the class description, but she encouraged me to attend anyway. I was thrilled beyond words. Going into the class my heart was racing, but my uncertainties lifted. Joni focused on ME! And my passion for photography.  She teaches with a vibration, and simply rocked my world.” – Letty, participant in a Joni Kabana workshop
